Doi Inthanon rises 2,565 metres above sea level — the highest point in Thailand and the source of the rivers that feed the Ping. The park is cool, green and often wrapped in cloud even in April.
A relaxed full day: waterfalls in the morning, the King and Queen pagodas at midday, then a Karen village where the coffee is grown a few hundred metres from where you drink it.
