Wat Phra Singh

Founded in 1345, Wat Phra Singh holds the revered Phra Singh Buddha image and the exquisite Lai Kham chapel, whose interior murals show Lanna life in remarkable everyday detail.

It sits at the western end of the old city's main street and is the focus of Songkran celebrations each April.
